According to the DVSA, most people have had about 47 hours of professional driving tuition plus 20 hours of private practice before they pass their practical driving test.
This is a national average for 17-23yr olds. It will be easier and quicker in rural areas and harder in and around the big cities. And everyone learns at a different pace!
