A common problem I find is that parents of learners have been telling them to stop at every give-way line. This causes the problems of learners not looking until after they stop and not developing a good sense of slowing to an appropriate approach speed based on visibility. Please ask your learner to try to keep moving at give-way lines if there’s no vehicle(s) to give way to.
